Application Developer Senior Analyst – Gachibowli, Hyderabad
- Apply standard programming procedures and detailed knowledge of subject matter within a subsystem area.
- Work according to approved specifications, often requiring further investigation, creativity, and objectivity to arrive at solutions.
- Maintain, modify, and support systems or third-party components including programs, processes, and configurations.
- Perform unit testing of all work processes.
- Troubleshoot and investigate problems with unclear causes; diagnose and correct errors to ensure data integrity and system stability.
- Write and maintain documentation for primary area of responsibility.
- Apply current technologies and methodologies combined with business knowledge to develop technical solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand issues and translate business processes into IT solutions.
- Seek advice from senior IT associates when precedents are unclear.
- Expand use of information technologies, techniques, and processes relevant to Goodyear.
- Increase technical knowledge breadth and depth continuously.
Technical Skills:
- Passion for learning manufacturing, tire concepts, and Goodyear IT technologies including PHP, PL/SQL, SQL, ActiveMq/Camel, C, ExtJs, Linux, C# .net, containers (docker/podman), version control (github, cvs), configuration as code (ansible), Shell Scripting, build pipelines (Jenkins/github), and artifact repository (Nexus).
- Experience with at least two of the following: C, PHP, SQL, C# .net, JavaScript/Framework, containers.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or related discipline required.
