APPLICATION DEVELOPER INTERN

About the Company

Nexal IIT is offering a structured remote internship for freshers who want to begin a career in application development. The internship provides practical exposure to designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications while working with modern programming technologies, APIs, databases, and development tools.

Responsibilities

Assist in designing and developing software applications based on project requirements.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code using relevant programming languages and frameworks.
Develop and integrate application features, APIs, and third-party services.
Work with databases to store, retrieve, update, and manage application data.
Assist in developing responsive and user-friendly application interfaces.
Test applications to identify bugs, errors, and performance issues.
Debug and troubleshoot application issues and implement appropriate solutions.
Integrate frontend components with backend services and APIs where required.
Use Git and version-control practices to manage source code and development workflows.
Assist in optimizing applications for performance, reliability, and usability.
Document code, technical approaches, development processes, and project progress.
Collaborate with remote team members and complete assigned tasks and deliverables on time.

Requirements

Suitable for freshers with an interest in application development, software development, computer science, or a related area.
Basic understanding of programming concepts and object-oriented programming.
Familiarity with at least one programming language such as Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, or similar technologies.
Basic understanding of databases and SQL or NoSQL concepts.
Familiarity with REST APIs and JSON is beneficial.
Knowledge of frontend or backend frameworks is beneficial.
Basic understanding of Git and version control is beneficial.
Familiarity with application testing and debugging techniques is beneficial.
Strong logical reasoning, problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing deadlines responsibly.

This is a paid, remote internship with a duration of 3 months and a performance-based stipend of up to 10,000.
