Job Description

Oracle Fusion Applications Product Development is looking for an entry-level contractor for its DevOps organization. The role will support building, maintaining and operating internal Development, QA, and other Fusion Applications environments, including environments hosted on OCI.

The person will work as part of a project team and follow standard practices and procedures for routine operational work, scripting, automation, troubleshooting, and environment support. This role will receive guidance on new assignments and is expected to learn Oracle methodologies, tools, and processes while gradually building independent execution capability.

The candidate should have 1-2 years of relevant technical experience. An undergraduate degree or equivalent experience is preferred. The candidate should demonstrate basic competence in at least one technical area and show willingness to learn new tools, processes, and technologies quickly.

Candidate should have basic awareness of AI tools and be open to using AI for productivity, scripting, troubleshooting, documentation, and automation as per project needs.

Qualifications

• Primary : 1-2 years of demonstrated experience in creating and implementing Shell Scripting or Python Scripting in DevOps Projects & Automation.

• Secondary : Knowledge of Linux , Build and Release Management Processes. Limited experience in this is also fine but conceptually they should know.

• Basic awareness of AI tools and willingness to learn AI-assisted automation.

• Exposure to Jenkins and Git is another advantage and preferred.

• Ability to troubleshoot issues with guidance and apply basic debugging skills.

• Flexible, fast learner, and comfortable adapting to process changes.

• Good written and verbal communication skills
