About The Role

The Professional, Application Development at Cargill is a vital role responsible for maintaining, integrating, and implementing software applications critical to our business operations. This position requires a proactive individual with a strong technical background, particularly in SAP Ariba solutions, to ensure the seamless functioning of our procurement and supply chain systems. The role involves performing software testing, quality assurance, configuration, and deployment activities with minimal supervision, ensuring that all applications are stable, efficient, and aligned with organizational objectives. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business partners, to deliver high-quality solutions that support Cargill's strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of three years of relevant experience working with SAP Ariba solutions, with a total professional experience not exceeding five years. A comprehensive understanding of the Ariba portfolio, including integration with SAP ECC/S/4HANA systems, is essential. Candidates should have hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and deploying SAP Ariba On-Demand solutions, particularly focusing on downstream processes such as Procure-to-Pay, Invoicing, and Ariba Procurement Content. Exposure to upstream processes like Sourcing and familiarity with Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG) setup and SAP Business Network are highly desirable. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues are critical for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Application Configuration Management: Set up and maintain application configurations to meet user and business requirements, while continuously developing and recommending improvements to standard support processes and procedures.
  • Application Development & Deployment: Perform programming, configuration, testing, and deployment of fixes or updates for application versions, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • User Communication & Support: Maintain open communication channels with users, providing timely support and resolving standard to moderately complex application support requests.
  • Application Support: Conduct advanced support activities to ensure application stability, performance, and alignment with business needs.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate effectively with multi-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business partners, to ensure configurations adhere to standards and project objectives.
  • Incident & Request Management: Review, analyze, and prioritize incoming incident tickets and user requests, ensuring prompt resolution and documentation of issues.
