Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Application Developer with strong expertise in C++, Java, and Oracle E-Business Suite to design, develop, and support enterprise-grade applications. The role involves building scalable integrations, enhancing mission-critical systems, and collaborating with business stakeholders across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and HR domains.
This is a hybrid role based in Chennai / Hyderabad.
Key Responsibilities
Application Development
- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using C++ and Java
- Develop scalable, high-performance, and secure application components
- Ensure code quality through best practices, code reviews, and documentation
Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Development
- Develop and support integrations, extensions, interfaces, and customizations within Oracle E-Business Suite
- Work on technical development including reports, interfaces, conversions, extensions, and customizations (RICE components)
- Participate in system upgrades, patches, and enhancement projects
Database & Performance Optimization
- Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects
- Develop and maintain PL/SQL programs
- Perform performance tuning and troubleshooting at application and database layers
Collaboration & Production Support
- Collaborate with functional teams (Finance, SCM, Manufacturing, HR) to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Support and maintain mission-critical production systems with high availability
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues within defined SLAs
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of experience in application development
- Strong hands-on experience in C++ and Java development
- In-depth experience working with Oracle E-Business Suite (technical development & integration)
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and performance tuning
- Strong experience in PL/SQL development
- Good understanding of enterprise application integration and data flow architecture
- Experience supporting large-scale, enterprise, mission-critical systems
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with EBS modules such as Finance, SCM, Manufacturing, and HR
- Experience in end-to-end implementation and support projects
- Exposure to multi-org and multi-currency environments
- Experience working with global delivery teams
Relevant Experience Preferred
- IT / ITES organizations using Oracle E-Business Suite
- Large enterprise environments managing mission-critical applications
- Organizations with integrated Finance, SCM, and Manufacturing systems
- Projects involving high-volume transaction processing and complex integrations
- Experience working in onsite-offshore engagement models
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Oracle EBS Technical Certification (added advantage)
