Role Description:
Develops complex applications and systems to provide the required functionality for all IT services, including configuration and adjustment of standard software. Provides application maintenance and support services to users or to service delivery functions and contributes to the operations of a dedicated application or application class.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
o Designs, codes, tests (incl. test cases, and scripts for module/component tests), corrects, ocuments complex programs and scripts from agreed specifications and subsequent iterations Installs, configures, customizes and integrates standard software
o Implements and executes module/component tests and provides technical documentation
o Executes the technical application support
o Supports the deployment and training of the application into production environment
Monitors service delivery performance metrics and identifies required service agreement adjustments

o Competences for .NET
o MFC C++ unmanaged code 32Bit x86 Desktop Application
o C#.NET Framework 4, Windows Forms, SOAP/REST Services.
o MS Visual Studio 2022, Install Shield, MS Azure DevOps
o Knowledge User Task API, GUI (Graphical User Interfaces) Design
o OOP Design Patterns, COM Interoperability.
NTS (New Tech Stack), Java, Container runtime environment with Docker containers and Kubernetes, Cloud with AWS (Amazon Web Services), CI/CD - Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment with Jenkins, Knowledge Source Management Github and Nexus, Elastic Container Service
o Openshift, Kerberos Authentication
o SQL Server Management Studio
o Windows Services, Event logging, PowerShell scripting
o Mainframe basics
o Knowledge about Test Tools (e.g. HP ALM) and BMC Tool Incident Management
Creation of unit tests, automation tests.
o Good interpersonal, communication and organizational skills relevant to the role.
o Willingness to learn and quickly adapt to changing requirements.
o Proactive approach to identifying issues and presenting solutions and options
o Ability to direct and guide teams as relevant
Previous Experience & Qualifications
o Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science /Engineering/Information Technology
o Candidate with non-computer science degree must have minimum 1 year of relevant experience
MBA in IT / Insurance/Finance can also apply for Requirements Engineer and Test Engineer role.
o 5+ years of Development background in design, analysis and coding, bug fixing.
o IT technical background & client server programming experience
o Experience process know-how insurance
