Job Description

Experience, Skills and Key Responsibility:

  • Understand customer power backup needs and propose suitable UPS solutions during offer

stage

  • Perform Design and Technical documents for customer approval during execution stage.
  • Prepare necessary design calculations, customized testing & commissioning test

documentation. technical elements of any O&M Manual, etc.

  • Support Project Technical Lead to integrate UPS system in the overall design and delivery

scope

  • Participate in customer technical meetings for design review and approval
  • Will be responsible for all aspects of the technical elements of a solutions order, whilst

working closely with Project Manager and Technical Leader of the project. The aim of the

role being to deliver a best in class UPS solution to customer

  • Perform customer FAT testing and Level-2 support
  • This position is responsible to provide professional services for Schneider Electric customers and technical support/training for service partners, including technical site analysis to resolve customer issues and to perform field service duties on Schneider Electric's complete range of UPS products and solutions.
  • Participate and lead in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
  • Perform consulting services at customer site as well as over the phone.
  • Work with customers, contractors, service partners, other members of the team, Sales Partners, Tech Support, and Manager to resolve escalated problems.
  • Document all required information for each site visit performed.
  • Manage installation projects as well as unit replacement when necessary.
  • Educate Schneider Electric customers on basic operation of their equipment. Inform customers of issues which they may have experience with their equipment in a way which is beneficial to the customer as well as Schneider Electric.
  • Must comply with all safety policies, practices, procedures, and cybersecurity Skills and Attributes:
  • More than 5 years of experience within UPS industry or similar.
  • Professional technical bachelor or equivalent by experience
  • In-depth knowledge of electricity/electronics principles and codes
  • Strong and demonstrable customer skills
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office and being computer literate
  • Good understanding of Schneider Electric
  • An entrepreneur who is flexible and has a positive attitude.
  • Excellent listening & communication skills, ability to influence others and to build strong business networks
  • Proactive and open-minded personality with passion to work
  • Must take international travel 50% of the time Experience and skills we are looking for
  • Experience in performing design calculation for UPS selection and propose solution as per project and customer requirements
  • Experience in any competitor range of UPS , Schneider (Secure Power) UPS range experience is an advantage
  • Battery sizing calculation and selection ranges
  • Confirmed experience writing FAT/SAT Test protocols, Site installation, Testing and Commissioning
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of time
  • Thorough understanding of all aspects of UPS systems, key components and its applications for IT/Data Centers/O&G/Buildings segments
  • Experience in the production of design documentation & its associated process review.
  • Understanding and experienced in project's business and environment
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of Power Systems / IT products and services
  • Bachelor or Master's degree in university or similar qualification in Electrical Engineering
  • English language fluent mandatory
  • More than 5 years of experience in UPS solution
