Key Responsibilities
- Administer and manage Couchbase Server clusters and NoSQL databases.
- Perform cluster configuration, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Work with N1QL queries, indexing, and query optimization.
- Manage Couchbase XDCR, replication, high availability, backup, and recovery.
- Design and maintain NoSQL data models and database architecture.
- Manage Couchbase Capella deployments, configuration, security, and optimization.
- Support migration of on-premise Couchbase workloads to Couchbase Capella.
- Work with Capella APIs and application integrations.
- Develop automation scripts using Shell, Python, or Perl.
- Automate database monitoring, health checks, backup, recovery, and maintenance.
- Develop and manage Ansible Playbooks for infrastructure automation and configuration management.
- Troubleshoot database, Linux/Unix, performance, and application-related issues.
- Implement database security and operational best practices.
- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and DevOps teams.
