Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and experienced Application Business Analyst to join our team, focusing on VFS (Visa Facilitation Services) related applications. You will be instrumental in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, driving the entire requirements lifecycle, and ensuring successful system delivery and user acceptance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Requirements Elicitation & Documentation: Analyze, assess, and meticulously document requirements using a variety of techniques such as interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, and task/workflow analysis.
  • Prepare comprehensive Business Requirements Documentation (BRD), including detailed technical specifications.
  • Stakeholder Management: Manage business users requirements and expectations effectively, ensuring alignment between business needs and technical capabilities.
  • Interface Design & SIT: Design application interfaces and perform System Integration Testing (SIT) before handing over the system for User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • UAT Coordination & Management: Coordinate and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions with business users, ensuring thorough testing and feedback collection.
  • Project Support: Collaborate with development and QA teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ad-hoc Tasks: Undertake other relevant tasks as requested by the immediate supervisor and/or Head of Department.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as an Application Business Analyst, preferably with exposure to Visa Facilitation Services (VFS) or similar highly regulated service domains.
  • Strong proficiency in various requirements elicitation techniques.
  • Expertise in preparing detailed Business Requirements Documentation (BRD) with technical specifications.
  • Experience in managing business user expectations and requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with interface design and System Integration Testing (SIT).
  • Strong ability to coordinate and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
