Job Title: Apple Certified Engineer – L1 Support
About the Role
Palz Infotech is looking for a skilled and customer-focused Apple Certified Engineer to join our technical support team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing Level 1 technical support for Apple devices, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and troubleshoot Apple devices, including MacBook, iMac, Mac Mini, Mac Studio, and iPad.
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues related to macOS and iPadOS.
Perform operating system installation, upgrades, data migration, and system optimization.
Configure Apple ID, iCloud, FileVault, Time Machine, and security settings.
Support Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, Zoom, VPN, printers, and third-party business applications on Apple devices.
Configure and troubleshoot Wi-Fi, LAN, VPN, network printers, and peripheral devices.
Provide onsite technical support at customer locations and remote support when required.
Coordinate with Apple Authorized Service Providers (AASP) for hardware warranty and repair cases.
Maintain service records, incident reports, and preventive maintenance schedules.
Perform device health checks and preventive maintenance.
Assist with deployment of new Apple devices, including imaging, configuration, and user handover.
Educate end users on best practices for using and maintaining Apple devices.
Ensure adherence to company policies, customer SLAs, and information security guidelines.
Required Qualifications
Diploma or any degree
1–5 years of experience supporting Apple devices in enterprise or corporate environments.
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of macOS and iPadOS.
Experience troubleshooting MacBook, iMac, Mac Mini, Mac Studio, and iPad hardware and software.
Knowledge of Apple Business Manager (ABM) and Apple Device Enrollment (DEP).
Familiarity with MDM solutions such as Jamf, Kandji, Microsoft Intune, or VMware Workspace ONE.
Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Azure AD (Entra ID), Exchange Online, and VPN configuration.
Understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, and LAN.
Experience with backup and recovery tools, including Time Machine.
