Job Description

Job Summary:

The Appian Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing business process management (BPM) solutions using the Appian platform. This role focuses on creating scalable, efficient, and user-friendly applications that meet business process automation needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop BPM applications using Appian low-code platform
  • Translate business requirements into Appian technical solutions
  • Create process models, interfaces, records, reports, and integrations
  • Develop and maintain web services, APIs, and data sources within Appian
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and deployment of Appian applications
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to refine requirements
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and enhance existing Appian applications
  • Maintain application documentation and technical specifications
  • Ensure Appian applications adhere to performance, security, and scalability standards
  • Stay updated on Appian platform updates and industry best practices

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in Appian application development
  • Strong knowledge of Appian components like SAIL, process models, records, and reports
  • Experience in Appian integrations using Web APIs, REST, SOAP, or RDBM
