Experience: 5 to 13yrs

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect end-to-end Appian-based solutions.
• Lead Appian application development, deployment, and support activities.
• Define technical architecture, integration patterns, and security standards.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop reusable components, frameworks, and best practices for Appian applications.
• Integrate Appian with external systems using REST, SOAP APIs, databases, and messaging services.
• Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and performance tuning activities.
• Mentor developers and provide technical leadership across project teams.
• Ensure adherence to Appian development standards, governance, and compliance requirements.
• Support production deployments and troubleshoot complex application issues.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Appian BPM Platform (Appian 20.x/21.x/22.x/23.x or above).
• Expertise in:
• Process Models
• SAIL Interface Design
• Records
• Reports
• CDTs
• Expression Rules
• Appian Objects
• Experience with Appian integrations using REST APIs, Web Services, and databases.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, relational databases, and data modeling.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Understanding of application security, authentication, and authorization.
• Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Appian Level 2 or Senior Developer Certification.
• Appian Architect Certification (preferred).
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Git, and deployment automation.
• Knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, or other integration technologies.
