- Lead the end-to-end design and architecture of scalable Appian BPM solutions for enterprise clients.
- Translate complex business requirements into robust Appian technical solutions in collaboration with stakeholders and analysts.
- Define architectural standards, reusable components, and integration strategies using Appian's low-code platform.
- Oversee the development and delivery of optimized applications, ensuring performance and scalability.
- Mentor Appian developers, review code, and guide best practices in SAIL design, process modeling, and interface development.
- Integrate Appian with external systems using REST, SOAP, JDBC, and third-party services.
- Participate in solution workshops, client presentations, and architecture review boards.
- Ensure compliance with SDLC processes, DevOps practices, and Appian deployment methodologies.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 10+ years of overall IT experience with at least 5 years focused on Appian BPM development and architecture.
- Deep expertise in Appian design components records, expressions, CDTs, rules, interfaces, and web APIs.
- Strong knowledge of Appian Cloud and on-premise deployments, including performance tuning and scaling.
- Proven experience integrating Appian with external systems and databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
- Hands-on familiarity with Appian DevOps tools like Deployment Manager, Jenkins, and Git.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, CI/CD processes, and secure application design.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Appian Certified Lead Developer or Architect.
- Experience with Appian RPA, Sites, and Process Mining.
- Knowledge of SAML, OAuth, and Appian authentication strategies.
- Familiarity with other BPM or low-code platforms (e.g., Pega, OutSystems).
