Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow App Engine Developer who specializes in building scalable, secure, and reusable applications using ServiceNow's low-code and pro-code capabilities. The role involves designing custom business applications that extend the ServiceNow platform and drive digital transformation across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain custom scoped applications using ServiceNow App Engine.
- Build application components including custom tables, forms, flows, UI actions, and portals/workspaces.
- Implement business logic using Business Rules, Script Includes, and Flow Designer.
- Develop intuitive user interfaces using UI Builder, Service Portal, and Workspace Experience.
- Ensure application security, performance optimization, and scalability.
- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to solution design decisions.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, update set management, and deployment strategies.
- Perform code reviews, testing, debugging, and documentation.
- Collaborate closely with business users, architects, and QA teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- ServiceNow CAD Certification (Compulsory)
- Strong experience with ServiceNow App Engine Studio
- Proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow APIs
- Deep understanding of scoped application architecture
- Experience with ServiceNow security, performance, and best practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Nice to Have
- IntegrationHub and REST integrations experience
- Exposure to ITSM, HRSD, or CSM modules
- Experience in Agile / DevOps environments
