About Position
We are seeking an experienced Application Performance Monitoring (APM) Engineer with strong expertise in AppDynamics, Python, and Automation. This role focuses on enhancing application observability, monitoring user experience, and driving performance optimization across enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will play a key role in implementing monitoring solutions, analyzing performance data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure application reliability and efficiency.

What You'll Do
- Implement and manage AppDynamics for end-to-end application performance monitoring
- Configure and maintain Glassbox for digital experience monitoring and user journey analytics
- Develop Python-based automation scripts for monitoring, data collection, and analysis
- Design and build dashboards and reports to track application health and performance metrics
- Set up alerting mechanisms, thresholds, and incident triggers for proactive issue detection
- Analyze performance trends and provide actionable optimization recommendations
- Collaborate with development teams to instrument applications for observability
- Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks using APM tools and distributed tracing
- Ensure availability and reliability of monitoring infrastructure and tools
- Document best practices and train teams on APM tools and monitoring frameworks
Expertise You'll Bring
- 9+ years of experience in Application Performance Monitoring and related domains
- Strong hands-on experience with AppDynamics (mandatory)
- Experience with Glassbox or similar Digital Experience Monitoring tools
- Proficiency in Python scripting and automation
- Solid understanding of APM concepts, distributed tracing, and observability
- Experience in building monitoring dashboards, alerts, and reporting frameworks
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex performance issues
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams
