Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Merchandiser in the Apparel domain, located in New Delhi. The Assistant Merchandiser will support the merchandising team with daily tasks such as liaising with vendors, coordinating product development, monitoring production timelines, managing inventory levels, conducting market research, and ensuring that customer requirements and quality standards are met. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams including design, sales, and marketing to meet business objectives.

Qualifications

• Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to effectively coordinate with vendors and internal teams.
• Experience in Sales and Retail operations, including understanding of product trends and consumer preferences.
• Knowledge of Marketing principles to assist in promoting products and understanding target markets.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing timelines and multiple responsibilities.
• Proficiency in relevant tools such as Microsoft Office Suite or merchandising software is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
