About Padelu
Padelu is a UK-based padel brand with ambitions to become a recognisable lifestyle and fashion label within the padel and racket sports world. Beyond courts and community, we are building a clean, modern, premium aesthetic across apparel and equipment.
We are looking for a talented Apparel & Product Designer to help us design padel-specific clothing and accessories, ready for manufacturing and brand expansion.
The Role
You will be responsible for designing and developing Padelu-branded apparel and padel products, working from our brand identity and commercial objectives.
Apparel Design
- Design padel apparel including:
- Match shirts & kits
- Hoodies, sweatshirts, tracksuits
- Caps, socks, bags
- Develop seasonal or capsule collections
- Produce print-ready and embroidery-ready designs
Product & Equipment Design
- Concept designs for:
- Padel rackets (visual / cosmetic design)
- Overgrips, bags, accessories
- Work within manufacturer constraints and templates
Design Execution
- Deliver designs in manufacturer-friendly formats:
- AI / PSD / PDF
- Pantone references
- Mockups and flat drawings
- Prepare tech packs where required (lightweight)
Brand & Consistency
- Maintain a consistent visual identity
- Align designs with padel, sport, and lifestyle trends
- Ensure designs work across performance and lifestyle use
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Experience in sportswear or apparel design
- Strong understanding of fabrics, fits, and print techniques
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop
- Ability to design for manufacturing, not just visuals
- Confident written English
Nice to Have
- Experience with padel, tennis, or racket sports
- Familiarity with OEM / white-label manufacturing
- Knowledge of embroidery, sublimation, screen printing
- Experience designing accessories or equipment
