Job Title: Apigee X MCP & Azure/AWS Databricks Platform Engineer (Contract-to-Hire)
Location: Mumbai / Bangalore / Pune

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Apigee X MCP & Azure/AWS Databricks Platform Engineer to manage, secure, automate, and optimize enterprise API management, cloud infrastructure, and data platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in Apigee X MCP Gateway Administration along with experience in Azure/AWS Cloud and Databricks environments.

Key Responsibilities
Apigee X MCP & Google Cloud
Administer and support Apigee X MCP Gateway environments.
Manage API proxy lifecycle including deployment, versioning, promotion, and retirement.
Configure gateway policies, routing rules, shared flows, and target endpoints.
Monitor API traffic, performance, availability, and security.
Implement API security using OAuth 2.0, JWT, and OIDC.
Manage GCP services including VPCs, IAM, GKE, Load Balancers, Logging, and Monitoring.
Troubleshoot API gateway, connectivity, and security-related issues.
Azure/AWS Databricks Administration
Administer Databricks workspaces, clusters, jobs, workflows, and permissions.
Implement and manage Unity Catalog, governance, lineage, and audit controls.
Manage Azure infrastructure including Virtual Networks, Storage Accounts, Key Vault, and Virtual Machines.
Administer Azure Entra ID, RBAC, Service Principals, and IAM.
Support Azure Data Factory integrations and orchestration.
Monitor platform health using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
Troubleshoot Databricks performance, networking, and storage issues.
Automation & DevOps
Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform.
Develop automation scripts using Python and Shell.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
Support code repositories, release management, and deployment automation.
Ensure platform reliability through monitoring, logging, and incident management.
Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
8+ years of experience in Cloud, API Management, and Data Platform Administration.
Strong expertise in Apigee X MCP is mandatory.
Experience with Azure/AWS Databricks is highly preferred.
