APIGEE Developer

Position Overview

The Apigee Developer will join BNP Paribas Real Estate's Solution Engineering team (IT G Real Estate). Reporting to the Application Portfolio Manager (ECM & Flows domain), the role will support the bank's strategic API‑enablement initiative by establishing Apigee best‑practice guidelines, configuring environments, designing reusable frameworks, and migrating existing services to the new Apigee‑based exchange platform.

Job Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

• Define Best‑Practice Guidelines – Create development standards for Apigee that satisfy Group‑wide requirements and Real Estate‑specific constraints.
• Environment Configuration – Set up and tailor multiple Apigee environments to provide a reliable, scalable foundation for diverse services.
• Develop Framework Design – Build reusable components that standardise configuration and accelerate downstream development.
• Service Development – Migrate selected gateway‑exposed services to Apigee, incorporating security (certificate validation), monitoring, and replay capabilities.

Contributing Responsibilities

• Support the definition of the Real Estate IT strategy.

Required Education, Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in a similar role (at least 8 years total professional experience).
• Proven expertise with Apigee (including data‑related competencies).
• Strong grasp of Agile methodology.
• Understanding of digital environments and the ability to map existing data flows.
• Experience defining ECM scope and applying RACI frameworks.
• Alignment with BNP Paribas IT standards and Data‑Governance policies.
• Core behavioral competencies: teamwork, decision‑making, influencing ability, and meticulous attention to detail.

Preferred Education, Skills and Experience

• Experience in the real‑estate sector or familiarity with real‑estate business lines.
• Additional exposure to related data‑domains that complement Apigee expertise.
