Job Title: Apigee Developer / Support

Location: Hyderabad

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and maintain API proxies using Apigee Edge, Apigee X, and Hybrid.
  • Implement API security policies, including OAuth, JWT, API key validation, and threat protection.
  • Collaborate with architects and product teams to design and implement RESTful APIs following best practices and design patterns.
  • Develop custom policies using Java, JavaScript, and Python (where required).
  • Ensure adherence to API governance, scalability, and performance optimization standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to API proxies, authentication, and performance.
  • Work closely with DevOps teams to integrate APIs into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Provide technical expertise in API design patterns, security, and lifecycle management.

Required Skills :

  • Strong hands-on experience with Apigee Edge, Apigee X, and Hybrid.
  • Expertise in API security (OAuth, JWT, API Key validation, Threat Protection).
  • Proficiency in Java for custom policy development.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful API design and best practices.
  • Knowledge of API proxies, traffic management, caching, and mediation policies.
  • Familiarity with API design patterns and governance models.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Job Description:

Looking for an experienced Apigee Support Engineer to manage and troubleshoot Apigee Edge or Apigee X platforms. The role involves monitoring APIs, resolving production issues, managing deployments, and ensuring high availability of API services.

Required Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with Apigee Edge / Apigee X / Hybrid
  • Strong knowledge of API Gateway, REST APIs, OAuth, and policies
  • Experience in production support, debugging, and performance tuning
  • Familiarity with cloud (GCP/AWS), CI/CD, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
  • Good skills in scripting (Python/Shell) and monitoring tools (Splunk/ELK)

Nice to Have:

  • Google Cloud or Apigee certification
  • Experience in 24x7 production environments
