Job Title: Apigee API Developer / API Management Engineer

Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Apigee API Developer / API Management Engineer to design, build, and manage robust and secure APIs using Apigee Edge, Hybrid, or Apigee X. You'll play a key role in API lifecycle management, integration, and support in a fast-paced Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop API proxies, shared flows, and API products using Apigee
- Implement API policies including OAuth 2.0, JWT, mTLS, API Key, traffic management, and mediation.
- Collaborate with application teams to support API integration and troubleshoot issues.
- Create and maintain clear, developer-friendly documentation (e.g., OpenAPI/Swagger).
- Build CI/CD pipelines for Apigee deployment using Jenkins, Git, Terraform, etc.
- Monitor and troubleshoot API behavior using Apigee Analytics and API Monitoring
- Ensure API performance, version compatibility, and secure access control.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and continuous improvements.
Primary Skills (Must-Have):
- Apigee API Management (Edge / Hybrid / X)
- RESTful API Design, API Security (OAuth 2.0, JWT, mTLS)
- CI/CD Tools (Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI)
- API Documentation (OpenAPI/Swagger)
- Programming Experience (Java / Node.js / Python basic scripting support)
- Docker, Kubernetes (for containerization and deployment)
- Apigee Analytics and Monitoring
Nice to Have
- Experience with FileNet integration
- Familiarity with GCP infrastructure and monitoring
- Understanding of microservices architecture and DevOps practices
