API Testing Consultant

Job Description:

• About the Role
• We are looking for an experienced Project Manager Quality Engineering to lead and manage quality assurance initiatives for large scale API driven applications and distributed systems
• The role involves driving testing strategy managing cross functional teams ensuring delivery excellence and championing quality across the software development lifecycle
• You will collaborate with business stakeholders architects developers DevOps teams and QA engineers to deliver reliable secure and high performing solutions

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end to end project delivery for Quality Engineering engagements involving API and integration testing
• Define project plans test strategies milestones risks and governance processes
• Manage QA teams allocate resources track deliverables and ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards
• Drive API testing and automation initiatives across microservices and distributed systems
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align project objectives priorities and release schedules
• Monitor project health through metrics dashboards and regular status reporting
• Identify risks dependencies and bottlenecks and implement mitigation plans proactively
• Ensure seamless integration of testing practices into CI CD pipelines and Agile delivery models
• Facilitate defect triage root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
• Mentor team members and promote quality engineering best practices across programs

Technical Requirements:

• 8 years of experience in Software Testing Quality Engineering or Test Management with project leadership responsibilities
• Strong understanding of API Testing Automation Testing and Quality Assurance methodologies
• Experience managing Agile Scrum projects and coordinating cross functional teams
• Knowledge of REST APIs microservices architecture and API testing tools
• Experience with test automation frameworks and CI CD integration
• Strong stakeholder management project planning risk management and reporting skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects within scope schedule and quality targets
• Excellent communication leadership and problem solving abilities
