Your Role

You will work closely with developers, architects, and DevOps teams to design, develop, and execute API test automation solutions. The role involves validating REST APIs, ensuring application quality, and integrating automated testing into CI/CD workflows.

• Design and execute automated API testing for microservices-based applications.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Rest Assured, ReadyAPI, or similar tools.
• Validate REST APIs, request/response payloads, and service integrations.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
• Analyze defects, troubleshoot issues, and work with development teams on resolutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to quality engineering best practices.
  
  

Your Profile

• 4–6 years of experience in Software QA and Test Automation.
• Strong expertise in API Testing and Automation using Rest Assured, ReadyAPI, Postman, or similar tools.
• Hands-on experience testing microservices-based architectures.
• Strong programming skills in Java.
• Experience with Git for version control.
• Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD implementation.
• Familiarity with build tools such as Maven and Ant.
• Hands-on experience using debugging tools such as Charles Proxy and Fiddler.
• Experience working with JIRA and Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with QMetry or similar test management tools.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
