Api Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business and technical requirements for APIs
• Design and execute manual and automated API test cases
• Validate API requests responses status codes headers and payloads
• Perform functional integration regression and end to end API testing
• Create and maintain test plans test cases and test reports
• Use API testing tools such as Postman Swagger SoapUI or Insomnia
• Automate API test suites using frameworks like Rest Assured Karate or Postman Newman
• Validate data integrity by testing backend databases SQL queries
• Identify log track and retest defects using tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps
• Collaborate with developers business analysts and QA teams throughout the SDLC STLC
• Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and provide testing updates
