API & Integration Testing (Cypress/Bruno)

They don't need to be Workato experts; their expertise should be mainly on the API / Integration testing ( postman/bruno/cypress).

The resource must have Cypress Testing experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute end-to-end integration test scenarios across systems

• Validate API requests and responses using Bruno (source system)

• Test Workato recipes including mapping, transformations, conditional logic, and error handling

• Analyze Workato job execution and logs to debug integration issues

• Validate Salesforce data including record creation, updates, relationships, and field-level accuracy

• Perform backend validation using SOQL queries

• Ensure data integrity across systems (API → Workato → Salesforce)

• Validate negative scenarios, edge cases, retries, and idempotency behavior

• Develop and maintain Cypress automation for end-to-end integration validation

• Identify and troubleshoot issues across multiple systems and layers

• Maintain test artifacts including Bruno collections and Cypress tests in Git

• Collaborate with developers, BAs, and stakeholders during refinement and testing phases

Required Skills:

• 8+ years of QA experience with strong focus on integration testing

• Hands-on experience with Cypress for automation (API and end-to-end flows)

• Strong experience in API testing using Bruno (or similar tools like Postman)

• Experience testing Workato or similar integration platforms (recipes, jobs, logs)

• Salesforce testing experience (object model, data validation, SOQL)

• Strong understanding of data mapping and transformation validation

• Experience in manual, regression, and automation testing

• Working knowledge of JavaScript in the context of Cypress automation

Nice to Have

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration

• Experience with bulk data testing and data reconciliation

• Understanding of asynchronous systems and event-driven architectures
