Api Automation Tester

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable test automation frameworks using Java.
• Develop and execute API test scripts and automation suites using frameworks such as Cucumber and Karate.
• Implement and support BDD-based testing practices.
• Work closely with developers, QA, and DevOps teams to identify test requirements and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze and troubleshoot test failures and provide detailed defect reports.
• Collaborate in Agile development environments and contribute to continuous quality improvement efforts.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and code quality.

Required Skills:

• 6-8 years of experience in test automation with strong hands-on Java programming skills.
• Proven experience in API automation testing and frameworks.
• Expertise in BDD design patterns (Cucumber, Karate).
• Strong understanding of database concepts and hands-on experience with SQL.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Familiarity with Jenkins or other CI/CD tools.
• Exposure to cloud technologies, preferably AWS.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
