APEX Developer

Role Objective

The Senior Oracle APEX Developer is responsible for the full-lifecycle development of secure, scalable, and responsive web applications and user support for existing deployed applications. This role focuses on designing high-performance internal and external-facing tools, integrating them with Oracle EBS or third-party systems, and ensuring a modern UI/UX using the latest APEX Universal Theme and JavaScript enhancements.

Key Responsibilitie

• sApplication Architecture: Design end-to-end APEX solutions, including schema design, application security models (Authentication/Authorization), and deployment strategies
• .Complex Development: * Build sophisticated interfaces using Interactive Grids, Faceted Search, and JET-based Charts
• .Write advanced PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers to handle heavy business logic at the database level
• .Modernization & Migration: Lead initiatives to convert legacy Oracle Forms or Excel-based processes into modern, web-based APEX applications
• .Web Integration: Develop and consume RESTful Web Services (ORDS) to exchange data with external platforms or Oracle Cloud services (SaaS/OCI)
• .UI/UX Enhancement: Customize the Universal Theme using CSS, HTML5, and JavaScript to provide a high-quality, mobile-responsive user experience
• .Performance Tuning: Conduct deep-dive performance profiling using SQL Trace, TKPROF, and APEX Debugging tools to optimize slow-running pages and queries
• .Mentorship & Quality Control: Perform code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices, such as Clean Code in PL/SQL and proper error-handling frameworks

.Technical Expertis

• eCore APEX: Expert-level knowledge of Oracle APEX (versions 21.x through 24.x/25.x)
• .Database Programming: Mastery of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL (Collections, Bulk Binds, Analytical Functions)
• .Front-End Technologies: Proficient in JavaScript/jQuery, CSS3, and HTML5. Experience with Oracle JET components is a plus
• .Data Services: Hands-on experience with ORDS (Oracle REST Data Services) configuration and security
