Job Description

We are delighted to be working with a global leader in healthcare technology dedicated to saving lives and improving the quality of patient care. With over 100 years of heritage, the client blends a mission-driven culture with cutting-edge innovation. As they enter their next phase of growth, they are seeking to appoint a Total Rewards Lead to architect and implement compensation, benefits and wellness programs for the diverse and high-growth Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.

Position Overview

Reporting directly to the APAC HR Lead and working closely with the global Rewards team, you will roll out a holistic rewards strategy that supports the client's business objectives and workforce needs, balancing global consistency with local market nuances. Your expertise will guide the development of sales incentives programmes as well which is a critical component of the highly competitive Healthcare Technology landscape. This means acting as a trusted consultant to Regional Leadership, including commercial heads, HR Business Partners among others on complex offers, executive compensation, retention strategies etc.

Inorganic growth forms a cornerstone of the client's strategy, which requires the incoming to provide subject matter expertise during periods of regional integrations i.e. harmonizing benefits and compensation structures. Governance and compliance becomes even more pronounced as a result, with strong emphasis on ensuring that all associated programs meet evolving regulatory requirements across diverse jurisdictions while maintaining internal equity. In sum, you will ensure that the employee workforce is commensurately recognized and rewarded through programs that are competitive, equitable and aligned with their long-term vision.

The Successful Applicant

To succeed, they are are looking for a seasoned professional with at least 8 years of experience in Total Rewards, preferably within organisations of differing maturity (i.e. knowledge of best practices and resilience to remain hands on). Prior experience as a pioneering member in this function and/or consulting would be particularly valuable, as it demonstrates your ability to build scalable solutions in a dynamic environment.

Your expertise should encompass job architecture, compensation benchmarking, sales incentive design, and benefits optimization. Beyond technical skills, the client values strategic thinkers who can balance innovation with pragmatism, ensuring programs are both forward-thinking and executable. As such, those with advanced analytical skills and the ability to translate data into compelling narratives for the c-suite tends to be looked upon favourably.

Above all, you need to see beyond numbers but also consider the people behind them. You are passionate about healthcare and the impact such products have on patients worldwide.
