APAC Compliance Governance Assistant Manager - CIB

The Company

I am partnering with a leading corporate bank to hire an Assistant Manager (AVP equivalent) within its regional compliance function. The role is a 1.5 LOD position that supports compliance governance across banking, markets and treasury businesses.

The Role

You will support senior members of the APAC Compliance team across regional compliance frameworks, regulatory coordination and governance reporting. Key responsibilities include:

• Support APAC compliance policy, procedure and governance initiatives
• Coordinate regulatory management, regulatory change and compliance reporting workflows
• Support preparation of management information, committee papers and regional updates
• Track compliance plans, KRIs / KPIs, training completion and policy review cycles
• Assist with regulatory reviews, examinations and remediation tracking
• Support information barriers, conflicts management, watch / restricted lists and employee compliance matters
• Liaise with country compliance teams, business stakeholders and global compliance counterparts
• Support compliance projects, process improvements and technology initiatives

Your Profile

• 4–7 years experience in compliance, regulatory coordination, governance reporting or compliance advisory
• Experience within coporate banking, capital markets, or sales & trading businesses preferred
• Exposure to regulatory change, compliance reporting, and regional stakeholder management would be advantageous
• Strong analytical, organisational and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Independent, professional and comfortable working across regions
