Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities (All Roles)

  • Develop and maintain SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) applications and custom extensions
  • Integrate SAP Commerce Cloud with external systems (SAP S/4HANA, SAP C4C, ERP, PIM)
  • Troubleshoot issues related to data, content synchronization, and system performance
  • Perform deployments, system upgrades, and routine maintenance
  • Ensure data quality, system stability, and performance optimization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams

Team Lead - Additional Responsibilities

  • Lead technical design, architecture, and development standards
  • Drive performance optimization and scalability initiatives
  • Conduct code reviews and mentor development teams
  • Manage complex deployments and release cycles
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders on roadmap planning
  • Design workflows for content approval and business processes

PCM Focus - Additional Responsibilities

  • Design and manage complex product data models and taxonomies
  • Develop and enhance Product Content Management (PCM) modules
  • Implement multi-channel product content publishing strategies
  • Build integrations for product data synchronization

Required Skills

Technical Skills

  • Strong experience in SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) platform
  • Expertise in Java/J2EE, Spring Framework, and web technologies
  • Hands-on experience in API integrations (SOAP/REST)
  • Knowledge of database systems (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server)
  • Experience with Solr (indexing, search optimization, performance tuning)
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Experience with cloud environments and containerization (Kubernetes preferred)
  • Knowledge of security protocols (OAuth, OIDC, token-based authentication, CORS)

Role-Specific Skills

For Team Lead (7-8 Years):

  • Deep understanding of SAP Commerce Cloud architecture
  • Experience in headless commerce implementations
  • Strong system design and scalability expertise
  • Proven leadership and team management experience
  • Experience in enterprise integrations and middleware

For Sr. Developer - Webshop Focus (5-6 Years)

  • Strong foundation in Hybris architecture and development
  • Experience in frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
  • Ability to troubleshoot and support production issues
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

For Sr. Developer - PCM Focus (5-6 Years)

  • Strong expertise in PCM modules and product data modeling
  • Experience in workflow automation and catalog management
  • Understanding of multi-channel commerce environments
