Client Service Operations
Level: L3
Attaching the JD again for your reference. We want the candidate to posses strong working knowledge on AML/KYC and Transaction monitoring field along with any of these compliance monitoring tools such as and LexisNexis, worldcheck etc
The responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Operations Management
- Lead and manage multiple AML/KYC/Transaction Monitoring/Fraud Alert Remediation projects, ensuring timely delivery with >99% quality.
- Act as the domain SME on AML, KYC, TM, and Fraud investigations—guiding the team and resolving escalations.
- Oversee end‑to‑end delivery for 4–5 major accounts, including planning, resourcing, execution, and reporting.
- Interpret regulatory requirements and policy changes (FATF, USA PATRIOT Act, EU AMLD, FCA, APAC AML, etc.) and translate them into updated SOPs and workflows.
- Ensure all methodologies, tools, and procedures are documented accurately and kept up to date.
- Monitor operational KPIs, SLAs, and productivity dashboards; implement corrective measures where needed.
- Partner with Business Units globally to support seamless transitions, migrations, and onboarding of new processes.
- Develop, implement, and monitor daily reports on key performance indicators, ensuring timely communication with relevant stakeholders
Team Management
- Lead a team of 15+ analysts and quality control reviewers, ensuring optimal resource allocation and performance.
- Conduct structured coaching, mentoring, weekly check‑ins, and formal performance evaluations.
- Maintain team attrition below 10% annually and proactively identify early warning signs.
- Drive employee engagement, development, and retention; maintain Pulse survey score ≥80%.
Stakeholder & Client Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and cross‑functional leaders.
- Deliver consistent client satisfaction with CSAT ≥4.5; oversee service recovery for low feedback scores.
- Communicate project progress, risks, and insights proactively to senior leadership and clients.
Quality, Compliance & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure all research, reviews, and investigations meet regulatory, audit, and internal quality expectations.
- Lead quality assurance checks and implement feedback‑driven improvements.
- Identify process gaps and drive automation, optimization, and workflow enhancements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
- 12–15 years of experience in AML, KYC, Transaction Monitoring, Fraud Operations, or Financial Crime Compliance.
- 5–8 years of direct team management experience in operational environments.
- Strong knowledge of global regulatory frameworks (FATF, USA PATRIOT Act, EU AMLD, FCA, GDPR, APAC AML).
- Strong knowledge on tools like Elliptic, Chainalysis, TRM Labs, Sumsub and LexisNexis ThreatMetrix
- Proven experience in operations management, project management, and stakeholder management.
- Excellent communication, analytical, investigative, and decision‑making skills.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office, reporting tools, and workflow management.
Preferred Certifications
- Candidates possessing any of the following certifications will be given preference:
- CAMS (Certified Anti‑Money Laundering Specialist)
- CKYCA (Certified KYC Associate)
- Globally Certified KYC Specialist (GO‑AKS)
- Any other recognized certification in AML/Compliance/Financial Crime
