Job Description:
- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end automation and orchestration workflows using Terraform or Ansible Tower / AWX
- Develop reusable Ansible playbooks, roles, inventories, and job templates for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployments
- Create and enhance Terraform workflows, actions, and packages using powershell, integrating with VMware, cloud, and third-party systems
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for Windows automation, VMware administration, and integration with automation workflows
- automation solutions with REST APIs, ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow), monitoring tools, and enterprise platforms Integrate
- Provide L2/L3 operational support for automation platforms, including incident resolution, root cause analysis, and performance tuning
- Troubleshoot complex automation failures across Terraform, Ansible Tower, and PowerShell-based workflows and implement permanent fixes
- Automate lifecycle management tasks such as provisioning, scaling, patching, and decommissioning of infrastructure and services
- Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, DevOps, and application teams to identify and implement automation opportunities
- Standardize automation frameworks, coding standards, naming conventions, and documentation
- Optimize existing workflows and playbooks for scalability, reliability, and reusability
- Support change, release, and deployment activities related to automation solutions
- Mentor junior engineers and review automation code for quality and best practices
