Note: This is Short-Term Contractual role for a duration of 6 Months of Contract.

About the Team:

The Communication Team at Varahe Analytics works at the intersection of politics, creativity, and digital storytelling. The team is responsible for producing high-impact animated content, visual satire, and caricature-led narratives that simplify complex political issues and drive engagement across digital platforms.

Working closely with the Political Strategy, Research, and Digital Campaign teams, the Special Animation Team ensures that visual storytelling aligns with campaign objectives, messaging frameworks, and real-time political developments.

What Would This Role Entail

• Create animated videos, reels, and caricatures for political storytelling
• Develop expressive caricatures of political leaders and public figures
• Collaborate with writers, researchers, and strategists to conceptualise topical content
• Convert complex political narratives into engaging visual stories
• Create short-form animated content for platforms like Instagram, YouTube, WhatsApp, and X
• Ensure visual consistency, brand alignment, and message sensitivity in political content
• Work on tight deadlines during active campaign cycles

Necessary Qualifications/Skills:

• Ability to create expressive political characters and visual satire
• Strong understanding of Indian politics, current affairs, and digital trends
• Proficiency in After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Procreate, Dreams, Toon Boom (or similar tools)
• Strong storytelling and visual composition skills
• Ability to conceptualise independently and execute from scratch
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, office-based setup

Good to Have Skills:

• Prior experience in political consulting, advocacy campaigns, or news media
• Knowledge of motion graphics, sound integration, and short-format digital storytelling
• Experience working on meme-based or satire-driven content
• Basic understanding of scriptwriting and visual humour timing
