Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Animal Doctor based in Vasai Virar. Day-to-day responsibilities include diagnosing and treating animal illnesses, performing routine check-ups and surgeries, and creating tailored wellness plans. The Animal Doctor will collaborate with a team of veterinarians and veterinary assistants to deliver high-quality care. Client interaction to discuss treatment plans, educate on preventive care, and address animal health concerns is a core aspect of the role.
Qualifications
- Expertise in diagnosing, treating, and managing various animal health conditions
- Skills in surgery, medical procedures, and emergency treatment for animals
- Strong knowledge of animal nutrition, preventive care, and alternative medicine practices
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with pet owners and team members
- Ability to perform thorough research and stay up-to-date with veterinary advancements
- Organizational and time-management skills for managing multiple cases effectively
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree, with a valid veterinary license
- Experience in alternative or holistic veterinary medicine is a strong advantage
