Animal Birth Control Center Manager

Founded in 2010 in Mumbai, Youth Organization in Defence of Animals (YODA) is a registered charity dedicated to fostering harmonious human-animal coexistence. YODA focuses on reducing animal cruelty through initiatives such as medical care for homeless and injured animals, rehabilitation for mentally disturbed animals, and providing shelter for stray or elderly animals until they can be adopted. The organization also works proactively on vaccination and sterilization programs to control the stray population and prevent the spread of zoonotic diseases like rabies. YODA prioritizes education and awareness to create a more compassionate community for animals.

The Animal Birth Control (ABC) Center Manager will oversee the strategic and operational management of the ABC Center. Responsibilities include supervising sterilization and vaccination programs, ensuring proper care and rehabilitation of animals, managing staff and volunteers, coordinating with veterinary teams, and overseeing the day-to-day activities of the center. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Gurugram. The Manager will also drive awareness campaigns and maintain compliance with local regulations and organizational policies.

• Experience in animal care, welfare, or shelter operations, including understanding of vaccination and sterilization processes.
• Leadership and team management skills to supervise staff, coordinate operations, and foster professional growth.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills, including scheduling, documentation, and compliance management.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members, volunteers, veterinarians, and the community.
• A strong commitment to animal welfare and knowledge of best practices for animal rehabilitation and well-being.
• Prior experience in the non-profit sector or animal welfare organizations is a plus.
• Background in veterinary sciences, animal behavior, or a related field will be an advantage.
