6crickets is a promising high-tech startup with the mission to bring the best K-12 enrichment to every child through advanced technologies for schools, districts, enrichment providers, and parents. 6crickets development team consists of passionate and innovative software engineers with Ph.D.s from top universities and with significant experience in computer science research and large website and system building from large tech corporations like Google and Microsoft.

We are seeking an expert front-end developer with a deep understanding of both Angular and Angular JS to join our growing team. Full stack experience is a strong plus. You will be responsible for the entire development lifecycle, from designing and building APIs to crafting intuitive user interfaces. Your exceptional coding skills will be matched by your strong leadership potential, as you will actively participate in mentoring junior developers and shaping the future of our development practices.

Responsibilities:

• Build dynamic and responsive user interfaces using Angular, AngularJS and related technologies (TypeScript, HTML, CSS).
• Implement clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following best practices.
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests for both front-end and back-end components.
• Collaborate closely and communicate effectively with other team members.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to colleagues.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in web development technologies.
• Demonstrate strong leadership potential by mentoring junior developers and sharing knowledge.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• 3+ years of experience in Angular/AngularJS
• In-depth expertise in Angular and Angular JS
• Strong understanding of web development principles (RESTful APIs, HTTP protocols, etc.).
• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Karma).
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for building high-quality software and fostering a positive team environment.

Bonus points:

• Experience with Django REST Framework
• Ability to design and develop robust APIs using Django REST Framework.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with DevOps practices.
