Strong hands-on development experience using Angular 14+, TypeScript and JavaScript
Experience with spatial database, specifically PostgreSQL
Experience in engineering cloud solutions and architectures on one or more cloud providers - Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platforms.
Experience in using Web mapping API experience (ArcGIS Javascript. Leaflet, Mapbox, OpenLayers, Google Maps, Google Earth Engine) will be a plus.
JD:
Design, develop and implement the World Bank Geospatial Enterprise Platform (e.g. https://maps.worldbank.org); guide the project development to ensure alignment of the platforms with business short-term and long-term needs.
Ensure application performance, uptime, and scalability requirements are met by maintaining high standards of code quality and thoughtful application design.
Maintain knowledge of current technologies, research emerging technologies and industry trends, and make recommendations on implementation.
Utilize programming languages like Angular, JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and, Container Orchestration services including Docker and variety of AWS tools and service.
Remain current in state-of-the-art software frameworks and programming methods.
