Angular Architect

We are seeking a highly experienced Angular Architect to lead and mentor our front-end development team. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Angular and NgRx, a strong understanding of micro web app architecture, and a commitment to accessibility, mobile-first design, and test-driven development. Proficiency in Figma and advanced CSS is essential to ensure seamless collaboration between design and development, delivering responsive, inclusive, and visually consistent user interfacesincluding support for dark mode.

Key Responsibilities:

Architect and design modular, scalable Angular applications using micro web app architecture principles.

Lead the implementation of NgRx for state management, ensuring maintainable and predictable application behavior.

Champion mobile-first development practices to ensure optimal performance and usability across devices.

Implement and maintain dark mode support using CSS variables, theming strategies, and accessibility guidelines.

Promote and enforce accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1/2.2) across all UI components, ensuring inclusive design and usability.

Define and implement unit testing strategies using Jest, Jasmine, Karma, and promote a test-driven development (TDD) culture.

Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers using Figma, translating design specifications into responsive, accessible, and performant interfaces.

Apply advanced CSS techniques (Flexbox, Grid, animations, theming) to create visually appealing and consistent UI components.

Guide the development team through code reviews, mentoring, and technical decision-making.

Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and backend engineers to deliver cohesive and high-performing solutions.

Establish and maintain coding standards, CI/CD pipelines, and agile development workflows.

Stay current with Angular ecosystem updates and proactively introduce improvements and innovations.

Required Qualifications:

10+ years of experience in front-end development, with 5+ years in Angular.

Proven experience in architecting Angular applications using NgRx and micro web app architecture.

Strong proficiency in TypeScript, RxJS, HTML5, SCSS, and modern JavaScript.

Deep understanding of accessibility principles, including semantic HTML, ARIA roles, and screen reader support.

Expertise in unit testing frameworks and writing comprehensive test suites.

Hands-on experience with Figma for design handoff and collaboration.

Advanced knowledge of CSS, including responsive design, theming, and layout systems.

Experience implementing mobile-first design and dark mode support.

Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and integration patterns.

Experience with CI/CD tools, Git workflows, and agile methodologies.

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with micro frontends and federated module architecture.

Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP).

Knowledge of security best practices in front-end development.

Contributions to open-source projects, technical blogs, or speaking engagements.
