- Preoperative Evaluation: Review medical history, conduct physical exams, and analyze lab results to create a tailored anesthetic plan.
- Anesthesia Administration: Administer and manage general, regional, or sedation anesthesia to keep patients comfortable and pain-free.
- Intraoperative Monitoring: Continuously monitor vital signs—heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen levels—and adjust anesthesia levels to maintain stability.
- Airway Management: Perform intubation, ventilation, and manage breathing throughout the procedure.
- Emergency Response: Handle complications, adverse reactions, and emergency resuscitation.
- Postoperative Care: Manage pain, manage recovery from anesthesia, and ensure safe transition to the recovery room.
Skill Required

- Education: Medical Degree (MD or DO) followed by 4 years of residency in anesthesiology.
