Role Overview:

As a Software Engineer I - Android at ALLEN Digital, you will play an essential role in building high-performance Android applications, contributing to end-to-end development. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll help deliver impactful and innovative solutions while growing your skills with the latest technologies in Android development.

Job Responsibilities:

Participate in building end-to-end systems under the guidance of senior engineers

Work with designers, product managers, business stakeholders and other engineering leaders to meet the business goals.

Passionate about Android Development with the latest technologies.

What are we looking for:

A solid engineer at heart with excellent abstraction, coding, and system design skills with excellent programming skills

An experienced engineer in agile software engineering teams.

Experience and knowledge of the latest software technologies, frameworks, and broader.

1+ years of experience in Native Android development.

Proficient in Kotlin and experienced with Android SDK.

Solid understanding of Android development principles and best practices.

Experience with Android frameworks such as Jetpack, Room, and WorkManager.

Familiarity with version control tools like Git.

Proficiency in Kotlin and hands-on experience in native Android development.

Experience working in agile environments.

Familiarity with Android UI/UX guidelines and responsive design.

Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Experience with REST APIs and integrating third-party libraries.

Familiarity with automated testing frameworks for Android.

Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for Android development.
