Android Performance Optimization Engineer

Job Summary

We are hiring an Android Performance Optimization Engineer with hands-on experience in Android App/Framework performance analysis and optimization. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing and resolving performance bottlenecks such as lag, stutter, and frame drops across Android smartphone products.

Key Responsibilities

1.Analyze and optimize Android performance issues including lag, stutter, frame drop, and smoothness-related problems.Work on performance improvements across key scenarios such as device boot, app launch/exit, scrolling, installation, and screen on/off.

2.Perform root cause analysis for performance issues and drive fixes through cross-functional collaboration. Work closely with relevant teams to ensure timely resolution and closure of performance-related issues.

Required Qualifications

1.Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant discipline. Minimum 2 years of experience in Android App or Framework performance optimization.

2.Good understanding of Android system performance and optimization techniques.

3.Hands-on experience with Android Framework internals and debugging.

4.Familiarity with tools such as ftrace, systrace, and other performance tracing/debugging tools. Strong knowledge of CPU, I/O, and memory performance analysis and optimization.

Preferred

1.Experience in Android smartphone or embedded device performance tuning.

2.Good communication and cross-team collaboration skills.
