Android Mobile Application Developer

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop Android applications based on user requirements, ensuring optimal

performance and usability.

- Implement front-end user interfaces and back-end functionalities, ensuring seamless

integration.

- Conduct thorough testing of applications, debugging, and resolving issues for a smooth

user experience.

- Ensure compatibility with various Android devices and versions by managing updates

and handling version changes.

- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.

- Maintain and enhance existing applications by implementing new features and updating

frameworks or libraries.

- Create and maintain technical documentation for reference and future development.

Required Skills:

- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java for Android development.

- Experience with Android Studio and the Android SDK.

- Knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, and integrating third-party libraries or APIs.

- Familiarity with database management using SQLite, Room, or other local storage

solutions.

- Experience in managing the full application lifecycle: design, development, testing,

deployment, and maintenance.

- Understanding of Material Design principles and responsive UI/UX.

- Ability to implement push notifications, background services, and offline functionalities.

- Proficiency in version control tools like Git.

- Awareness of Android OS changes and strategies to ensure compatibility.

Preferred Skills:

- Knowledge of cross-platform tools like Flutter or React Native.

- Experience with Firebase (Authentication, Realtime Database, Analytics).

- Understanding of app security best practices.

- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for app deployment.

Educational Qualification:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or

equivalent experience). If the candidate is good, we are open to hire non-bachelors as well.
