Role Description

This is a full-time Android Intern role located on-site in Pune atRasta.AI. The Android Intern will be responsible for developing and implementing new features for mobile applications, conducting testing and debugging, and collaborating with the development team to enhance the user experience and functionality of the platform.

Key Roles and Responsibility:

1. Assist in developing and maintaining mobile applications using Flutter (Dart) and Android (Java/Kotlin)

2. Work with RESTful APIs, XML, and JSON for seamless data integration.

3. Implement and integrate third-party libraries, APIs, and SDKs into mobile applications.

4. Gain a deep understanding of Android Architecture (Lifecycle management, SDK features).

5. Explore and implement best practices for networking libraries like Retrofit.

6. Write clean, maintainable code while following industry best practices.

7. Debug and optimize app performance across different devices.

8. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in mobile development.

Qualifications

• Strong passion for programming and Android app development.
• Solid understanding of Java, OOP principles, and data structures
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and XML.
• Familiarity with Android UI components, Material Design, and lifecycle management.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and logical thinking skills.
• Experience or interest in Google Maps API, Mapbox SDK, and GPS-based services.
• Curiosity to explore new paradigms and a strong zest for continuous learning.

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to Flutter and Dart.
• Basic knowledge of Git and version control.
• Experience working with Firebase and push notifications.
• Understanding of MVVM or other architectural patterns.
• Interest or experience in Google Maps API and GPS-based services.
