About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Security Engineer to join our team at Qualcomm India Private Limited. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing security mitigation features within the kernel and user space, focusing on Android OS and related technologies. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to review security designs, identify vulnerabilities, and develop innovative solutions to enhance device security. The candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the robustness of Qualcomm's security frameworks by leveraging their expertise in Linux kernel internals, embedded programming, and security extensions. Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field from a reputed institution, with a strong academic record. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in software engineering, with a focus on security, kernel development, or embedded systems. Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Java, and Python is essential. Experience with Android OS, Linux kernel internals, and security extensions like ARMv8/ARMv9 is highly desirable. Knowledge of fuzzing tools, automation scripting, and architecture-specific security features will be advantageous. The candidate should demonstrate the ability to independently drive feature development and resolve complex security issues, showcasing strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
