Job Summary: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Android Developer to join our Automation Systems and Technology team. The role involves designing and developing innovative Android applications that enhance warehouse automation, operational efficiency, and user experience. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to create intuitive, scalable, and high-performance mobile solutions that power automation processes across inbound, outbound, stowing, and picking operations.

Mode of Work: Full time -hybrid

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end Android mobile applications supporting warehouse and automation workflows.
  
• Collaborate with Product, UX/UI, and Operations teams to translate business requirements into engaging user interfaces and seamless user experiences.
  
• Implement MVVM architecture and utilize Jetpack Components for scalable, maintainable, and testable applications.
  
• Apply RxJava for reactive programming and efficient data flow management.
  
• Integrate mobile applications with REST, gRPC, or GraphQL APIs for backend connectivity.
  
• Adhere to Clean Architecture principles, ensuring modular and high-quality code.
  
• Conduct code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization for Android applications.
  
• Stay up to date with modern Android development tools, frameworks, and best practices.
  
• Work in a cross-functional, multicultural team environment, contributing to technical discussions and design reviews.
  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  
  
• 5+ years of hands-on experience developing and deploying Android mobile applications.
  
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java programming languages.
  
• Solid understanding of Android SDK, Jetpack Components, and MVVM architecture.
  
• Experience with RxJava for reactive programming.
  
• Familiarity with Clean Architecture and best practices in modular app design.
  
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  
• Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
  
  

Good to have skills:

• 8+ years of experience developing and maintaining production-grade client backend for frontend (BFF) APIs using REST, gRPC, or GraphQL.
  
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, unit testing, and automated build systems.
  
• Exposure to e-commerce, logistics, warehouse automation, or supply chain domains.
  
• Proficiency in UX/UI principles for designing intuitive and efficient mobile interfaces.
  
• Knowledge of modern Android frameworks and performance optimization techniques.
  
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira or Confluence.
