Product Evolution:
The evolution of Vymo's product can be divided into three strategic phases:
1. Lead and Activity Management: Providing a mobile-first tool for large enterprises with distributed field sales teams to digitize processes and gain real-time visibility into team productivity.
2. Sales Engagement Platform: Building advanced capabilities (nudges, goals, playbooks, performance dashboards) to improve business outcomes for financial institutions.
3. Distribution Management Platform (Current Phase): Consolidating the tech stack for financial institutions. Our long-term vision is to become an insurance core system by owning the end-to-end advisor life cycle, encompassing recruitment, onboarding, training, selling, engagement, and performance management.
What You Will Do
- Build and scale production-grade Android features using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose / Custom Views.
- Own the Android Mobile Design System, building robust, accessible, and reusable UI components across varying screen densities and OS versions.
- Partner with UI/UX teams to translate complex workflow designs into modular, reusable design primitives.
- Ensure application stability, high frame rates, low battery footprint, and seamless background sync.
What You Will Bring
Experience and Fluency
- 2–4 years of native Android engineering experience.
- Strong grasp of Material Design guidelines, custom view rendering, layout optimization, and design system governance.
- Production experience with Kotlin, Coroutines / Flow, Room DB, and modern Android architectural patterns (MVVM / MVI).
- Proven track record of shipping modular UI libraries used by cross-functional feature pods.
