About The Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Android Developer with 5+ years of strong hands-on experience in Android application development. This role will involve designing, developing, maintaining, and enhancing high-quality Android mobile applications. Strong expertise in Android development, application architecture, API integration, debugging, performance optimization, and production deployment.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of professional experience in Android application development.
• Strong hands-on Android development experience is mandatory.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java.
• Strong understanding of the Android SDK, Android Studio, Android application lifecycle, UI components, layouts, and navigation.
• Experience developing and deploying production applications on the Google Play Store.
• Strong experience with REST APIs, JSON, API integration, and third-party SDK integration.
• Good understanding of mobile application architecture and design patterns.
• Experience with Git and modern version-control practices.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Good working knowledge of React Native is required.
• Ability to understand, debug, maintain, and contribute to an existing React Native codebase.
• Good understanding of React Native components, navigation, API integration, and state management.
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable and high-performance Android applications.
• Take complete ownership of Android application development from requirement analysis to production deployment.
• Develop clean, maintainable, reusable, and efficient code following Android development best practices.
• Integrate REST APIs, third-party APIs, SDKs, payment gateways, push notifications, analytics, and other mobile services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application crashes, performance issues, memory leaks, UI issues, and other production problems.
• Perform code reviews and contribute to improving development standards and engineering practices.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, security, responsiveness, and reliability.
• Implement new features and enhancements based on business and product requirements.
• Work with existing React Native applications and contribute to feature development and maintenance when required.
• Experience working on SaaS, enterprise, or large-scale mobile applications.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Experience working on both Android and iOS applications.
• Experience integrating payment gateways and third-party SDKs.
