We are looking for a passionate and skilled Android Developer with 36 years of experience to join our dynamic team at Maitsys, Madurai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications that deliver exceptional user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Work with outside data sources and APIs.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 36 years of proven experience in Android development.
- Strong proficiency in Java/Kotlin and Android SDK.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and APIs.
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle.
- Familiarity with Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
- Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git).
- Knowledge of cloud integration and push notifications is a plus.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Jetpack components (LiveData, ViewModel, Room, Navigation).
- Exposure to Agile methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
