Android Developer Professional:

Experience: 5- 8 years

Job Description:

• Contribute to the enhancement & maintenance of a native Android mobile solution in the

medical device domain, conforming to medical software compliances and standards

• Develop and maintain features in the app conforming to UX & technical design and functional

requirements

• Ensure development of good quality, efficient code

• Comply to coding standards and guidelines

• Ensure standard operating procedures are understood and followed

• Develop unit-test code to ensure robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general

reliability, execute unit tests to verify app functionality by connecting the app to the medical

device over BT/BLE

• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.

• Use code quality engineering tools like SonarQube and dynamic profilers available in the new

development environment to ensure a quality code is generated

• Participate in client discussions and status meetings

• Mentor junior developers, perform code reviews of junior developers

• Contribute to release and deployment process

Skills & Experience:

• Experience in native Android technology to build robust mobile applications

• Good experience of MVC, MVVM patterns, code sharing patterns such as dependency

service, service locator.

• Good knowledge and working experience of data parsing, storing, related data patterns,

geolocation and Bluetooth API's

• Good knowledge and experience of asynchronous API calls

• Excellent understanding of UI standards, layouts and how to translate visual designs into

mobile app UI

• Excellent understanding of Apple & Google app design principles & methodologies.

• Knowledge of security and performance of mobile apps

• Ability to connect mobile apps to back-end services.

• Excellent troubleshooting skills on both simulator and device

• Hands on experience in Agile projects and DevOps processes data parsing, storing, related

data patterns, geolocation and Bluetooth API's

• Knowledge of tools like Visual Studio Profilers, Sonar Qube

• Documentation of design and application requirements

• Excellent communication skills to engage with internal and client stakeholders

• Strong trouble shooting skills to resolve the technical issues.

• Good mentoring skills

• Prior experience of working in medical equipment related mobile solutions is preferred
