Role Description

This is a remote internship role for an Android Developer Intern. The intern will contribute to the development and optimization of Android applications, collaborate with the team to design user-friendly interfaces, participate in software development projects, and conduct testing and debugging. The role includes building android apps with deep system integration (notifications, background tasks, local storage).

Qualifications

• Android (Kotlin)
• Understanding of app lifecycle, background tasks
• Experience with local storage (SQLite / Room / Core Data)
• Push notifications (FCM/APNs)
• Geofencing APIs
• Background services

Responsibilities

• Develop core app features (chat, reminders, notifications)
• Implement background services (location triggers, scheduled tasks)
• Integrate on-device ML models
• Optimize app performance, battery usage, and responsiveness
• Work closely with AI team to integrate intelligence into UX

Good to Have

• Experience with push notifications, sensors, or location APIs
• Exposure to ML model integration in apps
• Experience in developing AI Chat applications
